9 | 9 | | 7 WHEREAS, Rep. Ladisch-Douglass was born outside of |

10 | 10 | | 8 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she attended the University of |

11 | 11 | | 9 Pittsburgh, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with |

12 | 12 | | 10 honors for her double major in anthropology and classical |

13 | 13 | | 11 civilization with a minor in political science before earning |
---|
14 | 14 | | 12 her Juris Doctor; and |
---|
15 | 15 | | 13 WHEREAS, Rep. Ladisch-Douglass moved to Elmhurst with her |

16 | 16 | | 14 husband in 2004, where she practiced law before founding her |
---|
17 | 17 | | 15 own firm, Douglass P.C. in 2011; and |

18 | 18 | | 16 WHEREAS, Rep. Ladisch-Douglass practiced law for more than |

19 | 19 | | 17 20 years before announcing in 2022 that she would run to |

20 | 20 | | 18 represent the people of the 45th District in the Illinois |

22 | 22 | | 20 WHEREAS, Rep. Ladisch-Douglass first entered state |
