7 | | - | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section |

41 | | - | that the teacher left the district in order to accept another |

42 | | - | teaching assignment. If the district intends to submit a |

43 | | - | referral to the State Superintendent, the district shall |
---|
44 | | - | submit the referral to the State Superintendent within 10 |
---|
45 | | - | business days after the board denies acceptance of the |
---|
46 | | - | resignation. The district shall notify the teacher that it |
---|
47 | | - | submitted the referral to the State Superintendent within 5 |
---|
48 | | - | business days after submitting the referral to the State |
---|
49 | | - | Superintendent. The State Superintendent or his or her |
---|
50 | | - | designee shall convene an informal evidentiary hearing no |
---|
51 | | - | later than 90 days after receipt of the required documentation |

---|
