1  AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  Section 5. The Illinois Controlled Substances Act is
5  amended by changing Section 204 as follows:
6  (720 ILCS 570/204) (from Ch. 56 1/2, par. 1204)
7  Sec. 204. (a) The controlled substances listed in this
8  Section are included in Schedule I.
9  (b) Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in
10  another schedule, any of the following opiates, including
11  their isomers, esters, ethers, salts, and salts of isomers,
12  esters, and ethers, whenever the existence of such isomers,
13  esters, ethers and salts is possible within the specific
14  chemical designation:
15  (1) Acetylmethadol;
16  (1.1) Acetyl-alpha-methylfentanyl
17  (N-[1-(1-methyl-2-phenethyl)-
18  4-piperidinyl]-N-phenylacetamide);
19  (2) Allylprodine;
20  (3) Alphacetylmethadol, except
21  levo-alphacetylmethadol (also known as levo-alpha-
22  acetylmethadol, levomethadyl acetate, or LAAM);
