7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Marilyn Standley was born to Earl J. and Rhoda |

8 | 8 | | 6 Mae (Dowdell) McMillen in Taylorville on August 30, 1952; she |
---|
9 | 9 | | 7 graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1970 and went on to |
---|
10 | 10 | | 8 graduate from Hardin Business School; she later earned |
---|
11 | 11 | | 9 continuing education credits in accounting at Lincoln Land |
---|
12 | 12 | | 10 Community College; and |
---|
13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Marilyn Standley worked as a bookkeeper in the |
---|
14 | 14 | | 12 Jacksonville City Clerk's Office for many years; she later |
---|
15 | 15 | | 13 worked as a claims processor, service representative, and |
---|
16 | 16 | | 14 trainer for BlueCross BlueShield; she moved to Springfield to |
---|
17 | 17 | | 15 work for the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in 2011, |
---|
18 | 18 | | 16 where she worked until her passing; and |
---|
19 | 19 | | 17 WHEREAS, Marilyn Standley was preceded in death by her |
---|
20 | 20 | | 18 parents and her sister, Diana Ahrens; and |
---|
21 | 21 | | 19 WHEREAS, Marilyn Standley is survived by her ex-husband, |

22 | 22 | | 20 Edward Standley; her sons, Michael (Joy) Standley and David |
