| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Ann (O'Malley) Moore of Chicago, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on February 12, 2023; and |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Ann Moore was born to Ellen (Grady) and John |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 O'Malley in the Village of Dooagh on Achill Island in County |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 Mayo, Ireland on August 29, 1932; she arrived on Ellis Island |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 in New York on August 16, 1956; she then took a train to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 Chicago, where she lived for the remainder of her life; she |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 married Joe Moore at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 Chicago on September 8, 1962; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, As a teenager, Ann Moore left home in search of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 work; she first looked in Ireland and later in England, where |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 she was employed at a school in Liverpool for a time; while her |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 children were young, she served her family as a homemaker; she |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 later returned to work, having stints at Woolworth's |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 department store and Gladstone Bakery in Jefferson Park; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 WHEREAS, Ann Moore was a woman of strong faith; in her |

| 21 | 21 | | 19 golden years, she enjoyed taking daily walks in her |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 neighborhood, going on frequent lunch outings with her |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 21 friends, and spending quality time with her husband; and |
