| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Don Meseth was born to Harry and Anne Meseth in |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 Chicago on March 3, 1933; he served in the U.S. Army; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 WHEREAS, Don Meseth was a resident of Des Plaines for the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 last 66 years, during which he became well-known for his |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 involvement as director of the Des Plaines Emergency |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 Management Agency (EMA) and commander of Des Plaines American |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 Legion Post 36; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Don Meseth was also a member of Elks Lodge 1526 |

| 15 | 15 | | 13 and the New Tradition Chorus; and |

| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Don Meseth loved and cared for many animals |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 throughout his life; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 WHEREAS, Don Meseth was the husband of Marion B. |

| 19 | 19 | | 17 (Baumgartner) Meseth for 65 years; the father of Pamela |
