| 10 | 10 | | 8 WHEREAS, Ben Jonen was born to David and Dawn DeBlois |

| 11 | 11 | | 9 Jonen in Hanover Park; he attended Lincoln Prairie School and |

| 12 | 12 | | 10 graduated from Hoffman Estates High School in 2023; during |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 high school, he participated in the school band, played on the |

| 14 | 14 | | 12 volleyball team, and was a member of the National Honor |

| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Ben Jonen's Eagle Scout project involved the |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 renovation and reconstruction of the maintenance shed at |

| 18 | 18 | | 16 Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hoffman Estates; after |

| 19 | 19 | | 17 receiving approval from church leadership, he helped raise the |

| 20 | 20 | | 18 funds needed for the renovation and reconstruction himself; he |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 19 then developed the work schedule, made lists of materials and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 supplies required, and supervised the execution of the |
|---|
