4	4	2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
5	5	3 congratulate Christine Myers on the occasion of her retirement
6	6	4 as executive director of the Livingston County Mental Health
7	7	5 and Disabilities Boards; and
8	8	6 WHEREAS, Christine Myers' dedication to improving the
9	9	7 lives of others began with her early work in the Birth to Three
10	10	8 Early Intervention Program, followed by serving as an activity
11	11	9 director, case manager, and Special Olympics coach for a
12	12	10 Center for Developmental Disability Services; she then worked
13	13	11 as an independent service coordinator for 13 years; and
14	14	12 WHEREAS, Christine Myers has served as executive director
15	15	13 of the Livingston County Mental Health and Disabilities Boards
16	16	14 since 2015, providing leadership in advancing behavioral
17	17	15 health in Livingston County through this position and as an
18	18	16 active member of the Association of Community Mental Health
19	19	17 Authorities of Illinois (ACMHAI); and
20	20	18 WHEREAS, Christine Myers has brought her expertise and
21	21	19 passion for helping others to the membership of ACMHAI, where
22	22	20 she has been an ongoing contributor, strong advocate, and
23	23	21 skilled spokesperson on intellectual and developmental
24	24	22 disabilities and behavioral health issues, serving as the

33	33	1 chair of the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Committee
34	34	2 since 2022; and
35	35	3 WHEREAS, While serving on the ACMHAI Legislative
36	36	4 Committee, Christine Myers has demonstrated a keen awareness
37	37	5 of the legislative process and has consistently advanced
38	38	6 community-based behavioral health and system issues within
39	39	7 Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Services in Illinois;
40	40	8 and
41	41	9 WHEREAS, Christine Myers has served on the Executive
42	42	10 Council of the Illinois Public Health Association,
43	43	11 representing the interests of community mental health and
44	44	12 developmental disabilities boards to the public health
45	45	13 community; and
46	46	14 WHEREAS, Christine Myers serves as director of the
47	47	15 Livingston County Commission on Children and Youth, treasurer
48	48	16 of the Livingston County Homeless Coalition, and as a member
49	49	17 of the OSF Livingston Community Health Needs Assessment Team;
50	50	18 therefore, be it
51	51	19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
52	52	20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate
53	53	21 Christine Myers on her retirement, and we express our
54	54	22 heartfelt gratitude for her exceptional service, leadership,
