| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Ward Roberson was born to Paul and Florence "Flo" |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 Sallows Roberson in Moline on November 29, 1945; he married |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 Sherry J. Nelson at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 1967; he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 WHEREAS, Ward Roberson worked for John Deere Harvester in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 East Moline for 32 years, retiring in the late 1990s; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Ward Roberson was a member of the Izaak Walton |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 League of America, Davenport Chapter and the QC Parrot Heads; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 he bowled in the John Deere Bowling League for many years; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Ward Roberson enjoyed working on cars, watching |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, collecting coins, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 fishing; he had an ear for music and enjoyed organizing all of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 his albums and songs by the generations in which they were |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 released; he loved spending time with his family, especially |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 19 his grandchildren; and |
|---|
