7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Jim Sullivan was born to Leo and Dorothy |

8 | 8 | | 6 (Kerstetter) Sullivan in Peoria on January 29, 1947; he |

9 | 9 | | 7 graduated from the Spalding Institute in 1965; he received an |
---|
10 | 10 | | 8 associate's degree from St. Bede Junior College and a Bachelor |

11 | 11 | | 9 of Science from Bradley University; he married Susan Swanson |
---|
12 | 12 | | 10 in 1968; he later married Deborah Gift in 1974; and |
---|
13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Jim Sullivan had several diverse careers during |

14 | 14 | | 12 his lifetime, including working at his father's service |
---|
15 | 15 | | 13 station, teaching at St. Vincent de Paul in Peoria for one |
---|
16 | 16 | | 14 year, and working at Security Savings and Loan for 20 years; he |
---|
17 | 17 | | 15 then served as an insurance agent and financial advisor at |
---|
18 | 18 | | 16 MassMutual before becoming the executive director of the |
---|
19 | 19 | | 17 Community Foundation of Central Illinois; he last worked as |
---|
20 | 20 | | 18 the development director for the Salvation Army, Heartland |
---|

22 | 22 | | 20 WHEREAS, Jim Sullivan volunteered for the United Way, |
