11	11	1 AN ACT concerning safety.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Gasoline Storage Act is amended by adding
15	15	5 Section 8 as follows:
16	16	6 (430 ILCS 15/8 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 8. Construction of gas stations, motor fuel
18	18	8 dispensaries, and motor fuel storage tanks prohibited on or
19	19	9 near school grounds.
20	20	10 (a) In this Section:
21	21	11 "Gas station" means a place where motor fuel is sold at
22	22	12 retail for use in motor vehicles.
23	23	13 "Motor fuel" means gasoline, diesel fuel, gasohol, or
24	24	14 other volatile and inflammable liquids produced, blended, or
25	25	15 compounded for use in motor vehicles.
26	26	16 "Motor fuel dispensary" means a place where motor fuel is
27	27	17 dispensed for use in a motor vehicle.
28	28	18 "Motor fuel storage tank" means a tank used for the
29	29	19 storage of motor fuel.
30	30	20 "Motor vehicle" means a motor vehicle as defined in the
31	31	21 Illinois Vehicle Code.
32	32	22 "School grounds" means the real property upon which an
33	33	23 active and operational public, private, or parochial
