3	11		1 AN ACT concerning local government.
4	12		2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5	13		3 represented in the General Assembly:
6	14		4 Section 5. The Sanitary District Act of 1917 is amended by
7	15		5 changing Section 7.9 as follows:
8	16		6 (70 ILCS 2405/7.9)
9	17		7 Sec. 7.9. Private agreements for wastewater treatment.
10	18		8 (a) The board of trustees of the Sanitary District of
11	19		9 Decatur or the Bloomington and Normal Water Reclamation
12	20		10 District may enter into an agreement to sell, convey, or
13	21		11 disburse treated wastewater to a private entity located within
14	22		12 50 miles of the District's boundaries. The agreement may not
15	23		13 exceed 30 years. The Sanitary District of Decatur or the
16		-	14 Bloomington ~~and~~ Normal Water Reclamation District may also
17		-	15 ~~accept~~ wastewater for treatment from a private entity located
18		-	16 ~~within~~ 50 miles of the district's boundaries.
	24	+	14 Bloomington Normal Water Reclamation District may also accept
	25	+	15 wastewater for treatment from a private entity located within
	26	+	16 50 miles of the district's boundaries.
19	27		17 (b) In addition, the Sanitary District of Decatur or the
20	28		18 Bloomington and Normal Water Reclamation District may acquire
21	29		19 and accept, by gift, grant, purchase, or otherwise, pursuant
22	30		20 to its authority under this Act, fee simple interest or any
23	31		21 lesser interest as may be desired in real property necessary
24	32		22 to carry out its powers under this Section.
25	33		23 (c) This Section does not apply to private entities
