3	11		1 AN ACT concerning government.
4	12		2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5	13		3 represented in the General Assembly:
6	14		4 Section 5. The Flag Display Act is amended by changing
7	15		5 Section 1 as follows:
8		-	6 (5 ILCS 465/1) (from Ch. 1, par. 3301)
9		-	7 Sec. 1. It shall be the duty of each county board to
10		-	8 provide United States national flags of not less than four by
11		-	9 eight feet in size, to be unfurled and kept floating from a
12		-	10 suitable flag-staff to be placed on the top of or prominently
13		-	11 displayed on the grounds of the court house in its respective
14		-	12 county, and it is hereby made the duty of the sheriff of each
15		-	13 and every county in the State to see that the flag so provided
16		-	14 shall be hoisted on its flag-staff above or at the court house
17		-	15 and kept floating from eight o'clock a.m. to five o'clock p.m.
18		-	16 on each and every legal holiday of the year, and on such other
19		-	17 days as the county board may direct.
20		-	18 The county board may provide for the display of an MIA flag
21		-	19 at the court house in its county, either upon the same
22		-	20 flag-staff as the United States national flag or otherwise.
