1111 1 AN ACT concerning revenue.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
1515 5 Section 9-25 as follows:

1717 7 Sec. 9-25. Township property record cards. In counties
1818 8 under township organization, the township assessors and
1919 9 multi-township assessors shall allow the supervisor of
2020 10 assessments to make a duplicate copy of any or all records
2121 11 compiled and maintained by the township assessor and
2222 12 multi-township assessor. The supervisor of assessments shall
2323 13 make and maintain a complete set of property record cards. The
2424 14 township or multi-township assessor shall supply the
2525 15 supervisor of assessments with a copy of all new property
2626 16 record cards as they are added to the tax rolls. In counties
2727 17 with a population of more than 700,000 residents and fewer
2828 18 than 725,000 residents according to the most recent federal
2929 19 decennial census, on and after January 1, 2026, at the request
3030 20 of the supervisor of assessments, property record cards
3131 21 supplied by the townships shall be in a digital format
3232 22 compatible with the system used by the supervisor of
3333 23 assessments.
