Provides that beginning on the effective date of the amendatory Act, the Department of Human Services shall not approve any initial or renewal application for the licensure of a facility where substance use treatment or intervention services will be provided within 1,000 feet of: (i) any building or buildings or real property comprising a public or private elementary or secondary school, community college, college, or university, including any adjacent school yard, school playing field, or school playground; (ii) a public playground; or (iii) any public park building or real property comprising any public park. Provides that nothing in the amendatory Act shall be construed to invalidate any initial or renewal application for licensure approved prior to the effective date of the amendatory Act. 11	11	1 AN ACT concerning State government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Substance Use Disorder Act is amended by
15	15	5 adding Section 15-50 as follows:
16	16	6 (20 ILCS 301/15-50 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 15-50. Substance abuse treatment and intervention
18	18	8 services; licensing restriction. Beginning on and after the
19	19	9 effective date of this amendatory Act of the 104th General
20	20	10 Assembly, the Department of Human Services shall not approve
21	21	11 any initial or renewal application for the licensure of a
22	22	12 facility where substance use treatment or intervention
23	23	13 services will be provided within 1,000 feet of:
24	24	14 (i) any building or buildings or real property
25	25	15 comprising a public or private elementary or secondary
26	26	16 school, community college, college, or university,
27	27	17 including any adjacent school yard, school playing field,
28	28	18 or school playground;
29	29	19 (ii) a public playground; or
30	30	20 (iii) any public park building or real property
31	31	21 comprising any public park.
32	32	22 Nothing in this Section shall be construed to invalidate
