19 | 19 | | 9 energy policy, which is exemplified by the enactment and |

20 | 20 | | 10 implementation of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act |

22 | 22 | | 12 (2) To address the significant increase in electricity |

23 | 23 | | 13 demand in the State and to attract additional investment, |

24 | 24 | | 14 Illinois must significantly expand its clean energy |

25 | 25 | | 15 generation capacity. |

26 | 26 | | 16 (3) Each incremental addition of clean energy |

27 | 27 | | 17 generation provides measurable value in combating climate |
