11	11	1 AN ACT concerning education.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
15	15	5 2-3.206 as follows:
16	16	6 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.206 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 2-3.206. Teacher externship stipend. Subject to
18	18	8 appropriation, the State Board of Education shall establish
19	19	9 and administer a grant program to reimburse school districts
20	20	10 for providing stipends for classroom Career and Technical
21	21	11 Education teachers who participate in externships with a
22	22	12 manufacturing company in this State. The State Board shall
23	23	13 adopt rules to implement this Section.
