| 19 | 19 | | 9 (a) A person commits reckless driving if he or she: |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 10 (1) drives any vehicle with a willful or wanton |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 11 disregard for the safety of persons or property; or |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 12 (2) knowingly drives a vehicle and uses an incline in |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 13 a roadway, such as a railroad crossing, bridge approach, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 14 or hill, to cause the vehicle to become airborne. |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 15 (a-5) If the person accused of reckless driving under this |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 16 Section unintentionally caused a death or type A injury to |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 17 another person, the trier of fact may infer that the person |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 18 acted with a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 19 persons under paragraph (1) of subsection (a) if the person is |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 20 issued a uniform citation for 3 or more violations of this Code |

| 31 | 31 | | 21 in causing the crash. |

| 32 | 32 | | 22 (b) Every person convicted of reckless driving shall be |
