12	12	1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
13	13	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
14	14	3 represented in the General Assembly:
15	15	4 Section 5. The Highway Advertising Control Act of 1971 is
16	16	5 amended by adding Section 4.09 as follows:

18	18	7 Sec. 4.09. Tourist oriented directional signs. The
19	19	8 Department may post tourist oriented directional signs at
20	20	9 intersections in rural areas at all sections of rural
21	21	10 non-freeways except those passing through urban areas with
22	22	11 populations of 7,000 or more.
23	23	12 Section 10. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
24	24	13 Section 9-112.7 as follows:
