19 | 19 | | 8 (a) It shall be unlawful for any person having the care, |
---|
20 | 20 | | 9 custody or control of any child under the age of fourteen |
---|
21 | 21 | | 10 years, to exhibit, use or employ, or in any manner, or under |
---|
22 | 22 | | 11 any pretense, sell, apprentice, give away, let out, or |
---|
23 | 23 | | 12 otherwise dispose of any such child to any person in or for the |
---|
24 | 24 | | 13 vocation or occupation, service or purpose of singing, playing |
---|
25 | 25 | | 14 on musical instruments, rope or wire walking, dancing, |
---|
26 | 26 | | 15 begging, or peddling, or as a gymnast, contortionist, rider or |
---|
27 | 27 | | 16 acrobat in any place whatsoever, or for any obscene, indecent |
---|
28 | 28 | | 17 or immoral purpose, exhibition or practice whatsoever, or for, |
---|
29 | 29 | | 18 or in any business, exhibition or vocation injurious to the |
---|
30 | 30 | | 19 health or dangerous to the life or limb of such child, or |
---|
31 | 31 | | 20 cause, procure or encourage any such child to engage therein. |

32 | 32 | | 21 Nothing in this section contained shall apply to or affect the |

33 | 33 | | 22 employment or use of any such child as a singer or musician in |
---|

80 | 80 | | 10 (1) a religious organization such as a church, |

81 | 81 | | 11 synagogue, mosque, temple, or other organized religion; |
---|
82 | 82 | | 12 (2) a recognized charity or organization that is |
---|
83 | 83 | | 13 exempt from full or partial taxation under Section 501 of |
---|
84 | 84 | | 14 the Internal Revenue Code of 1986; or |
---|
85 | 85 | | 15 (3) a friend or family member either in person or |
---|
86 | 86 | | 16 through the Internet. |
