20 | 20 | | 9 (1) Menstrual hygiene products are a health care |

21 | 21 | | 10 necessity and not an item that can be foregone or |
---|
22 | 22 | | 11 substituted easily. |
---|
23 | 23 | | 12 (2) Access to menstrual hygiene products is a serious |
---|
24 | 24 | | 13 and ongoing need in this State. |
---|
25 | 25 | | 14 (3) When students do not have access to affordable |
---|
26 | 26 | | 15 menstrual hygiene products, they may miss multiple days of |
---|
27 | 27 | | 16 school every month. |
---|
28 | 28 | | 17 (4) When students have access to quality menstrual |

29 | 29 | | 18 hygiene products, they are able to continue with their |
---|
30 | 30 | | 19 daily lives with minimal interruption. |
