1 AN ACT concerning finance.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
5 Revenue Estimate Act.
6 Section 5. Passage of appropriation bills prohibited
7 before adoption of joint resolution. The General Assembly
8 shall not enact any bill to appropriate funds within any
9 fiscal year prior to its adoption of a joint resolution
10 reflecting the estimate of funds available for that fiscal
11 year as required under Section 4 of the Commission on
12 Government Forecasting and Accountability Act.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
