| 8 | 8 | | 6 WHEREAS, Sgt. Schneider was a dedicated public servant who |

| 9 | 9 | | 7 served and protected his community as a sergeant for the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 Illinois Secretary of State Police Capitol Division since |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 2015; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 WHEREAS, During his tenure, Sgt. Schneider served as an |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 invaluable member of the Command Staff at the Capitol Police |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 Division and received a department unit citation and a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 department commendation; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Sgt. Schneider previously served as an officer |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 for the Sherman Police Department from January 2008 through |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 December 2014; and |

| 19 | 19 | | 17 WHEREAS, Sgt. Schneider also served as an officer for the |

| 20 | 20 | | 18 Tri-State Police Department from December 1999 through January |
