1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier is a distinguished racecar driver
3 who has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and
4 sportsmanship throughout his racing career; and
5 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier was born on June 6, 1986 in
6 Springfield and has become a distinguished figure in American
7 stock car racing; and
8 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier grew up in Riverton and has been
9 an ambassador representing his community with honor and
10 bringing positive recognition to the area; and
11 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier's family plays a crucial role in
12 his life, providing unwavering support and motivation; he is
13 the son of Mike and Dorothy Allgaier; he is married to his high
14 school sweetheart, Ashley Allgaier, and together, they have
15 two daughters, Harper and Willow; his family's love and
16 encouragement have been instrumental in his success; and
17 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier began his racing career at the
18 young age of five, quickly showcasing his talent and passion
19 for the sport; and
20 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier achieved significant milestones

2 quarter-midget champion by the age of 12; and
3 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier became the youngest driver to
4 advance to an A-Main at the Chili Bowl, the star-studded
5 midget racing event in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2001 at the age of
6 14; and
7 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier secured the ARCA Re/Max Series
8 Championship in 2008, marking a pivotal moment in his ascent
9 within professional racing; and
10 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier was honored as the 2009 NASCAR
11 Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year, further establishing his
12 reputation in the racing community; and
13 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has been a consistent and
14 formidable competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving
15 the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports; and
16 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has accumulated 27 Xfinity Series
17 victories over his career, placing him 10th on the all-time
18 wins list; and
19 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier achieved the pinnacle of his
20 career by winning the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship in

2 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has been recognized multiple
3 times as the all-time record holder for the NASCAR Xfinity
4 Series Most Popular Driver Award, reflecting his positive
5 impact on fans and the broader community; and
6 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has exemplified the values of
7 perseverance, sportsmanship, and community engagement
8 throughout his career, serving as an inspiration to aspiring
9 racers and Illinois residents alike; and
10 WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier's contributions to racing extend
11 beyond the track, as he has actively engaged with fans,
12 participated in community events, and supported charitable
13 causes, including the Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon initiative,
14 which he featured on his car during Memorial Day weekend at
15 Charlotte Motor Speedway, as well as participating in numerous
16 charity events and fundraisers; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
18 HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we declare November 9, 2025 as Justin Allgaier Day in the State
20 of Illinois in recognition of his outstanding racing career,
21 and we extend our best wishes for continued success in all his
22 future endeavors; and be it further
