11	11	1 AN ACT concerning education.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Community Behavioral Health Care
15	15	5 Professional Loan Repayment Program Act is amended by changing
16	16	6 Section 25 as follows:
17	17	7 (110 ILCS 996/25)
18	18	8 Sec. 25. Award; maximum loan time; maximum amount. Subject
19	19	9 to appropriation, the Commission shall award a grant to each
20	20	10 qualified applicant for a maximum of 4 years. The Commission
21	21	11 must encourage the recipient of a grant awarded under this Act
22	22	12 to use the grant award for payments towards the recipient's
23	23	13 educational loans. The amount of the grant shall not exceed
24	24	14 (i) $40,000 per year for a psychiatrist, (ii) $20,000 per year
25	25	15 for an advanced practice registered nurse or a physician
26	26	16 assistant, (iii) $20,000 per year for a psychologist who holds
27	27	17 a doctoral degree, (iv) $15,000 per year for a licensed
28	28	18 clinical social worker, a licensed clinical professional
29	29	19 counselor, or a licensed marriage and family therapist, a
30	30	20 licensed occupational therapist, or a licensed occupational
31	31	21 therapy assistant, (v) $4,000 per year for a substance use
32	32	22 professional, a certified alcohol and drug counselor, or a
33	33	23 certified recovery support specialist, (vi) $12,000 per year
