1 AN ACT concerning gaming.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
5 Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act.
6 Section 5. Definitions. As used in this Act, "remote
7 gambling" means gambling in which persons participate by the
8 use of remote communication, such as the Internet, telephone,
9 television, radio, or any other kind of electronic or other
10 technology for facilitating communication.
11 Section 10. Data collection prohibited. An entity that
12 operates a remote gambling platform or a subsidiary of the
13 entity shall not collect data from a participant with the
14 intent to predict how the participant will gamble in a
15 particular gambling or betting scenario.
