12	12	1 AN ACT concerning revenue.
13	13	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
14	14	3 represented in the General Assembly:
15	15	4 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
16	16	5 Sections 6-15 and 6-34 as follows:
17	17	6 (35 ILCS 200/6-15)
18	18	7 Sec. 6-15. Political makeup and compensation. The board of
19	19	8 review appointed under Section 6-5 shall consist of 3 members,
20	20	9 of which no more than 2 members may be of whom are affiliated
21	21	10 with the same political party polling the highest vote for any
22	22	11 county office in the county at the last general election prior
23	23	12 to any appointment made under this Section. The third member
24	24	13 shall not be affiliated with that same party. Each member of
25	25	14 the board of review shall receive an annual salary to be fixed
26	26	15 by the county board and paid out of the county treasury.
