11	11	1 AN ACT concerning local government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Intergovernmental Law Enforcement Officer's
15	15	5 In-Service Training Act is amended by changing Section 4 as
16	16	6 follows:
17	17	7 (50 ILCS 720/4) (from Ch. 85, par. 564)
18	18	8 Sec. 4. State Funding-Minimum Criteria. A Mobile Team
19	19	9 In-Service Training Unit which meets the minimum criteria
20	20	10 established in this Section is eligible to receive State funds
21	21	11 to help defray the costs of operation. To be eligible a Mobile
22	22	12 Team must:
23	23	13 (1) Be established and operating pursuant to the
24	24	14 Intergovernmental Cooperation Section Article VII, Section 10,
25	25	15 of the Illinois Constitution of 1970 and must involve two or
26	26	16 more units of local government including at least one county
27	27	17 and the Board.
28	28	18 (2) Establish an Advisory Board composed of elected local
29	29	19 officials and chief law enforcement officers from
30	30	20 participating units of local government and the Director,
31	31	21 Chairman or appointed member of the Board to oversee the
32	32	22 operations of the Mobile Team and make such reports to the
33	33	23 Board as the Board may require.
