21 | 21 | | 11 for cash assistance or SNAP benefits under this Article if the |

23 | 23 | | 13 (a) the individual has filed: |

24 | 24 | | 14 (1) has filed or is preparing to file an |

25 | 25 | | 15 application for T Nonimmigrant status with the |

26 | 26 | | 16 appropriate federal agency pursuant to Section |

27 | 27 | | 17 1101(a)(15)(T) of Title 8 of the United States Code, |

28 | 28 | | 18 or is otherwise taking steps to meet the conditions |
