Removes language setting forth a $50 minimum purchase of wine or spirits for a retailer located in a county with a population of less than 3,000,000 that is not adjacent to a county with a population of at least 3,000,000 inhabitants. 11	11	1 AN ACT concerning liquor.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
15	15	5 changing Section 6-9.1 as follows:
16	16	6 (235 ILCS 5/6-9.1)
17	17	7 Sec. 6-9.1. Deliveries to retail establishments.
18	18	8 (a) A distributor of wine or spirits shall deliver to any
19	19	9 retailer within any geographic area in which that distributor
20	20	10 has been granted by a wholesaler the right to sell its
21	21	11 trademark, brand, or name at least once every 2 weeks if (i) in
22	22	12 the case of a retailer located in a county with a population of
23	23	13 at least 3,000,000 inhabitants or in a county adjacent to a
24	24	14 county with at least 3,000,000 inhabitants, the retailer
25	25	15 agrees to purchase at least $200 of wine or spirits from the
26	26	16 distributor every 2 weeks; or (ii) in the case of a retailer
27	27	17 located in a county with a population of less than 3,000,000
28	28	18 that is not adjacent to a county with a population of at least
29	29	19 3,000,000 inhabitants, the retailer agrees to purchase at
30	30	20 least $50 of wine or spirits from the distributor every 2
31	31	21 weeks.
32	32	22 (b) On January 1, 2002 and every 2 years thereafter, the
