20 | 20 | | 6 Section 5. Definitions. As used in this Act: |

21 | 21 | | 7 "Automatic traffic control system" means a photographic |

22 | 22 | | 8 device, radar device, laser device, or other electrical or |
---|
23 | 23 | | 9 mechanical device or devices designed to record the speed of a |
---|
24 | 24 | | 10 vehicle and obtain a clear photograph or other recorded image |
---|
25 | 25 | | 11 of the vehicle, the vehicle operator, and the vehicle's |
---|
26 | 26 | | 12 registration plate or digital registration plate while the |
---|
27 | 27 | | 13 driver is violating Section 11-605.1 of the Illinois Vehicle |
---|
28 | 28 | | 14 Code. The photograph or other recorded image must also display |
---|
29 | 29 | | 15 the time, date, and location of the violation. A law |
---|
30 | 30 | | 16 enforcement officer is not required to be present or to |
---|
31 | 31 | | 17 witness the violation. |
---|
32 | 32 | | 18 "Construction or maintenance speed zone" has the same |
---|
33 | 33 | | 19 meaning given to that term under Section 11-605.1 of the |

34 | 34 | | 20 Illinois Vehicle Code. |

92 | 92 | | 13 the Highway Work Zone Speed Control Program for the purposes |
