11	11	1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Sale
15	15	5 of Pharmaceuticals on Social Media Act.
16	16	6 Section 5. Definition. As used in this Act:
17	17	7 "Individual" does not include a manufacturer or
18	18	8 distributor identified on the label of a drug approved under
19	19	9 the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, a biological product
20	20	10 licensed under the Public Health Service Act, or a drug
21	21	11 marketed in accordance with an over-the-counter monograph
22	22	12 under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
23	23	13 "Social media" has the same meaning as defined in Section
24	24	14 6-5 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934.
25	25	15 Section 10. Sale of pharmaceuticals on social media;
26	26	16 verification process. Notwithstanding any other provision of
27	27	17 law, no individual shall sell or advertise the sale of a
28	28	18 pharmaceutical on social media unless the individual has
29	29	19 completed the following verification process:
30	30	20 (1) the individual shall submit an image of both the
31	31	21 front and back of the individual's state-issued
