8	8	1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
9	9	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
10	10	3 represented in the General Assembly:
11	11	4 ARTICLE 1
12	12	5 Section 1. The sum of $2,838,800, or so much thereof as may
13	13	6 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
14	14	7 the Illinois Arts Council for operational expenses for the
15	15	8 fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
16	16	9 Section 5. The sum of $17,207,200, or so much thereof as
17	17	10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
18	18	11 Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for Grants and
19	19	12 Administrative Expenses to enhance the cultural environment in
20	20	13 Illinois in the approximate amounts below:

22	22	15 Creative Sector (Arts Organizations and

53	53	3 Section 10. The amount of $1,250,000, or so much thereof
54	54	4 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Arts
55	55	5 Council Federal Grant Fund for Grants and Programs to Enhance

57	57	7 Section 15. The amount of $1,657,800, or so much thereof
58	58	8 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
59	59	9 Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for grants to certain public
60	60	10 radio and television stations and related administrative
61	61	11 expenses, pursuant to the Public Radio and Television Grant
62	62	12 Act.
63	63	13 Section 20. In addition to other amounts appropriated for
64	64	14 this purpose, the following named sum, or so much thereof as
65	65	15 may be necessary, respectively, for the object and purpose
66	66	16 hereinafter named, is appropriated to the Illinois Arts
67	67	17 Council to enhance the cultural environment in Illinois:
68	68	18 Payable from Illinois Arts Council Federal Grant Fund:

70	70	20 the Cultural Environment and associated

72	72	22 Section 25. The sum of $1,445,000, or so much thereof as

83	83	1 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
84	84	2 Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for a grant to the Illinois
85	85	3 Humanities Council.
86	86	4 Section 30. The sum of $907,500, or so much thereof as may
87	87	5 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
88	88	6 the Illinois Arts Council for a grant for arts and foreign
89	89	7 language programming in schools.
90	90	8 Section 35. The sum of $384,500, or so much thereof as may
91	91	9 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
92	92	10 the Illinois Arts Council for administrative costs.
93	93	11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
94	94	12 2025.
