155	155	2 Corporation, as required in the Illinois Public Utilities Act,

157	157	4 Section 35. The sum of $12,000,000, or so much thereof as
158	158	5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Public Utility Fund
159	159	6 to the Illinois Commerce Commission for all costs associated
160	160	7 with the administration of the Energy Transition Act.
161	161	8 Section 40. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as
162	162	9 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Consumer Intervenor
163	163	10 Compensation Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for all
164	164	11 costs and expenses associated with the administration of the
165	165	12 Consumer Intervenor Compensation Fund, and amendments to
166	166	13 Section 9-229 of the Illinois Public Utilities Act resulting
167	167	14 from enactment of Illinois Public Act 102-0662.
168	168	15 Section 45. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may
169	169	16 be necessary, is appropriated from the ICC Federal Grants
170	170	17 Trust Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for a grant to
171	171	18 the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association Educational and Research
172	172	19 Foundation for costs associated with training of first
173	173	20 responders in planning for and responding to pipeline
174	174	21 emergencies.
175	175	22 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
176	176	23 2025.
