8	8	1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
9	9	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
10	10	3 represented in the General Assembly:
11	11	4 ARTICLE 1
12	12	5 Section 5. The amount of $226,026,400, or so much thereof
13	13	6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
14	14	7 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois
15	15	8 University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal
16	16	9 year ending June 30, 2026.
17	17	10 Section 10. The sum of $62,800, or so much thereof as may
18	18	11 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
19	19	12 the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for any
20	20	13 costs associated with the Daily Egyptian Newspaper.
21	21	14 Section 15. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as
22	22	15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
23	23	16 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University
24	24	17 for costs associated with the National Corn-to-Ethanol
25	25	18 Research Center and ethanol research grants.
26	26	19 Section 20. The sum of $1,130,600, or so much thereof as
27	27	20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education

55	55	7 Illinois University for scholarship grant awards.
56	56	8 Section 30. The sum of $1,250,000, or so much thereof as
57	57	9 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions
58	58	10 Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois
59	59	11 University for all costs associated with the development,
60	60	12 support or administration of pharmacy practice education or
61	61	13 training programs at the Edwardsville campus.
62	62	14 Section 35. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as
63	63	15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
64	64	16 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University
65	65	17 for all costs associated with programming at the formerly
66	66	18 Lindenwood Campus in Belleville.
67	67	19 Section 40. The sum of $266,600, or so much thereof as may
68	68	20 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
69	69	21 the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for
70	70	22 costs associated with the SIU Office of Community Engagement.

85	85	5 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
