8	8	1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
9	9	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
10	10	3 represented in the General Assembly:
11	11	4 ARTICLE 1
12	12	5 Section 5. The amount of $663,979,600, or so much thereof
13	13	6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
14	14	7 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of
15	15	8 Illinois to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year
16	16	9 ending June 30, 2026.
17	17	10 Section 10. The following named amounts, or so much
18	18	11 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated from the
19	19	12 Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the
20	20	13 University of Illinois for Labor and Employment Relations:
21	21	14 For degree programs.................................804,400
22	22	15 For certificate programs..........................1,500,000
23	23	16 Total $2,304,400
24	24	17 Section 15. The sum of $15,526,900, or so much thereof as
25	25	18 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
26	26	19 Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for
27	27	20 costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie
28	28	21 Research Institute, in accordance with Public Act 95-0728.

55	55	6 Section 25. The sum of $750,000, or so much thereof as may
56	56	7 be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance
57	57	8 Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for
58	58	9 costs associated with the Hispanic Center for Excellence at
59	59	10 the Chicago campus.
60	60	11 Section 30. The sum of $283,500, or so much thereof as may
61	61	12 be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance
62	62	13 Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for
63	63	14 Dixon Springs Agricultural Center.
64	64	15 Section 35. The sum of $1,079,000, or so much thereof as
65	65	16 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
66	66	17 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of
67	67	18 Illinois for costs associated with the Public Policy Institute
68	68	19 at the Chicago campus.
69	69	20 Section 40. The sum of $302,200, or so much thereof as may
70	70	21 be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance

82	82	2 a grant to the College of Dentistry.
83	83	3 Section 45. The amount of $500,000, or so much thereof as
84	84	4 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
85	85	5 Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for
86	86	6 costs associated with the Illinois Heart Rescue.
87	87	7 Section 46. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as
88	88	8 may be necessary, is appropriated to the University of
89	89	9 Illinois from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the
90	90	10 University of Illinois at Springfield for the Illinois
91	91	11 Innocence Project, and any associated administrative expenses.
92	92	12 Section 50. The sum of $7,358,700, or so much thereof as
93	93	13 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention
94	94	14 Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for
95	95	15 the purpose of maintaining the Illinois Fire Service
96	96	16 Institute, paying the Institute's expenses, and providing the
97	97	17 facilities and structures incident thereto, including payment
98	98	18 to the University for personal services and related costs
99	99	19 incurred.
100	100	20 Section 55. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may
101	101	21 be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and
102	102	22 University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of the

118	118	6 Veterinary Medicine.

120	120	8 be necessary, is appropriated from the Emergency Public Health

149	149	6 programs for the College of Medicine at Rockford.
150	150	7 Section 85. The sum of $2,000,000 or so much thereof as may
151	151	8 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
152	152	9 the Board of trustees of the University of Illinois for the
153	153	10 University's Climate Jobs Institute.
154	154	11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
