1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $4,000,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for costs
7 associated with the implementation of inclusive curriculum
8 mandates, including, but not limited to, Native American
9 history, LGBTQ+ history, Muslim American history, Asian
10 American history, Latina and Latino history, Black history,
11 and Holocaust education under Article 27 of the School Code.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
13 2025.
