15	15	5 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that there shall be
16	16	6 submitted to the electors of the State for adoption or
17	17	7 rejection at the general election next occurring at least 6
18	18	8 months after the adoption of this resolution a proposition to
19	19	9 add Section 2.5 to Article IV and amend Section 2 of Article V
20	20	10 of the Illinois Constitution as follows:

63	63	2 SECTION 2. TERMS
64	64	3 These elected officers of the Executive Branch shall hold
65	65	4 office for four years beginning on the second Monday of
66	66	5 January after their election and, except in the case of the
67	67	6 Lieutenant Governor, until their successors are qualified.
68	68	7 They shall be elected at the general election in 1978 and every
69	69	8 four years thereafter. A person may not be elected to any
70	70	9 Executive Branch office, or any combination of Executive
71	71	10 Branch offices, for more than two terms. Service before the
72	72	11 second Monday in January of 2025 shall not be considered in the
73	73	12 calculation of a person's service for purposes of this
74	74	13 Section.
