17	17	6 submitted to the electors of the State for adoption or
18	18	7 rejection at the general election next occurring at least 6
19	19	8 months after the adoption of this resolution a proposition to
20	20	9 amend Section 7 of Article III of the Illinois Constitution as
21	21	10 follows:

73	73	7 Each voter shall present photo identification to verify
74	74	8 the voter's identity when voting in person at a polling place

76	76	10 ballot. To be considered valid, the photo identification shall
77	77	11 be current or expired for no more than four years. Acceptable
78	78	12 forms of identification include:

81	81	15 Illinois, any other State, or the United States
82	82	16 Government.

106	106	5 SECTION 10. VOTER VERIFICATION
107	107	6 Each voter who votes by mail-in ballot shall enter one of
108	108	7 the following in the block provided next to the voter's
109	109	8 signature for election officials to use in verifying the
110	110	9 voter's identity:
111	111	10 (1) The last four digits of the voter's Illinois
112	112	11 driver's license number or Illinois identification card
113	113	12 number.
114	114	13 (2) If the voter does not possess an Illinois driver's
115	115	14 license or an Illinois identification card, the last four
116	116	15 digits of the voter's Social Security number.
117	117	16 (3) If the voter has neither an Illinois driver's
118	118	17 license, an Illinois identification card, or a Social
119	119	18 Security number, the number provided by the county clerk
120	120	19 or Board of Election Commissioners when the voter
121	121	20 registered to vote.

123	123	22 This Constitutional Amendment takes effect upon being
124	124	23 declared adopted in accordance with Section 7 of the Illinois
