| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Clyde E. Bunch, who passed away on |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Clyde Bunch was born to Robert and Goldie |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 (Painter) Bunch on January 17, 1936; he served in the U.S. Army |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 National Guard; he married Ruth A. Squires in Springfield on |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 November 8, 1953; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 WHEREAS, Clyde Bunch worked as a superintendent with the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 Springfield Department of Public Health, retiring after 30 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 years of service; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Clyde Bunch served on the Sangamon County Board |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 for 46 years and was the longest serving member of that board |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 and the longest serving county board member in the State of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 Illinois; he also served on the Comptroller's Mayor Commission |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 for six years; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 WHEREAS, Clyde Bunch was a member of St. Patrick's Church |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 and the Eagles Club; he was active with Walk Through the Park |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 19 for St. Martin de Porres for 20 years and Friend-In-Deed for 15 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 years; in addition, he was a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 21 Foundation and the Cancer Relay Walk for Life; therefore, be |
