| 8 | 8 | | 6 WHEREAS, Officer Schneider, the son of Gerald and Rebecca |

| 9 | 9 | | 7 (Kelly) Schneider, was born in Springfield on December 16, |

| 10 | 10 | | 8 1977; he married Sally "Sarah" Seitz at Good Shepherd Lutheran |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 Church in Sherman on October 13, 2012; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 WHEREAS, Officer Schneider dedicated his career to serving |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 and protecting his community as a sergeant with the Illinois |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 Secretary of State Police Capitol Division and as a longtime |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 officer of the Sherman Police Department; his commitment to |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 public service earned him the respect and admiration of his |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 colleagues and community members alike; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 WHEREAS, Officer Schneider enjoyed horseback riding and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 going to the beach, and he dearly loved spending time with his |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 family; and |

| 21 | 21 | | 19 WHEREAS, Officer Schneider was cherished for his |

| 22 | 22 | | 20 unwavering dedication, his sense of humor, and his love for |
