7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz was born to Richard J. and Dorothy |

8 | 8 | | 6 (Stefanovits) Dolderer in Northlake on February 7, 1956; she |
---|
9 | 9 | | 7 graduated from Barrington High School in 1974; she later |
---|
10 | 10 | | 8 graduated from Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) in 1991; |
---|
11 | 11 | | 9 she married John Shultz on August 15, 1992; she earned a |
---|
12 | 12 | | 10 bachelor's degree in education from Southern Illinois |
---|
13 | 13 | | 11 University Carbondale in 2003, graduating summa cum laude; and |
---|
14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz worked in retail sales and |
---|
15 | 15 | | 13 management from 1981 to 1989; after earning a degree in |
---|
16 | 16 | | 14 education, she worked as a special education teacher for |
---|
17 | 17 | | 15 Harrisburg Unit 3 School District for 14 years; after her |
---|
18 | 18 | | 16 retirement, she taught at New Hope Christian Academy from fall |
---|
19 | 19 | | 17 2018 to spring 2020; she continued tutoring and substitute |
---|
20 | 20 | | 18 teaching, mainly for Harrisburg Unit 3 School District, and |
---|
21 | 21 | | 19 she also served as an adjunct instructor of mathematics at SIC |
---|
22 | 22 | | 20 for six years; and |
---|
23 | 23 | | 21 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz was committed to her faith and a |
---|
24 | 24 | | 22 member of Aldersgate Global Methodist Church in Marion, where |
---|

40 | 40 | | 8 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz was a loving and devoted wife, |

41 | 41 | | 9 mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; and |

42 | 42 | | 10 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz was preceded in death by her |

44 | 44 | | 12 WHEREAS, Cheryl Shultz is survived by her husband, John; |

45 | 45 | | 13 her children, James (Susan) Cirigliano and Kathryn (Riley) |

46 | 46 | | 14 Swinford; two grandchildren; her siblings, JoAnna Hosch, Rick |
