44 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
55 3 to learn of the death of Raymond D. "Ray" Craig of Varna, who
66 4 passed away on December 26, 2024; and
77 5 WHEREAS, Ray Craig was born to Gaylord and Dorothy Craig
88 6 in Wenona on November 15, 1942; he served in the U.S. Marine
99 7 Corps; he married his wife, Donna, in Toluca on March 22, 1969,
1010 8 and she preceded him in death in 2019; and
1111 9 WHEREAS, Ray Craig retired from BF Goodrich in Henry after
1212 10 a 38-year career; and
1313 11 WHEREAS, Ray Craig was a lifelong member of the American
1414 12 Legion and an avid outdoorsman; and
1515 13 WHEREAS, Ray Craig took great pride in the achievements of
1616 14 his children and grandchildren, and he enjoyed supporting them
1717 15 by attending countless ball games, concerts, plays, and
1818 16 musicals over the years; he will be remembered for his
1919 17 willingness to help his family, friends, and the community
2020 18 whenever he was needed; and
2121 19 WHEREAS, Ray Craig is survived by his children, Jack
2222 20 (Cory) Craig, Kelly (Jay) Finagle, and Mike McAllister; his

3434 4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
3535 5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3636 6 Raymond D. "Ray" Craig and extend our sincere condolences to
3737 7 his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

3939 9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4040 10 presented to the family of Ray Craig as an expression of our
