| 4 | 4 | | 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |

| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Raymond D. "Ray" Craig of Varna, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on December 26, 2024; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Ray Craig was born to Gaylord and Dorothy Craig |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 6 in Wenona on November 15, 1942; he served in the U.S. Marine |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 Corps; he married his wife, Donna, in Toluca on March 22, 1969, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 and she preceded him in death in 2019; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 WHEREAS, Ray Craig retired from BF Goodrich in Henry after |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 a 38-year career; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Ray Craig was a lifelong member of the American |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 Legion and an avid outdoorsman; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 WHEREAS, Ray Craig took great pride in the achievements of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 his children and grandchildren, and he enjoyed supporting them |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 by attending countless ball games, concerts, plays, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 musicals over the years; he will be remembered for his |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 willingness to help his family, friends, and the community |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 whenever he was needed; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 19 WHEREAS, Ray Craig is survived by his children, Jack |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 (Cory) Craig, Kelly (Jay) Finagle, and Mike McAllister; his |
