44 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
55 3 to learn of the death of Gary Thomas Marschke, Supervisor of
66 4 DuPage Township, who passed away on March 9, 2025; and
77 5 WHEREAS, Gary Marschke was born on January 22, 1946; he
88 6 served in the U.S. Navy; and
99 7 WHEREAS, Gary Marschke, a resident of DuPage Township
1010 8 since 1987, was elected as Supervisor of DuPage Township in
1111 9 April 2021; he served his community with unwavering integrity
1212 10 and compassion, particularly dedicating himself to the seniors
1313 11 at the Levy Center and envisioning a new food pantry to support
1414 12 those in need; and
1515 13 WHEREAS, Gary Marschke also served the DuPage Township
1616 14 Democratic Organization, where he worked tirelessly to ensure
1717 15 the organization remained committed to providing service for
1818 16 all; and
1919 17 WHEREAS, Gary Marschke's legacy will live on through his
2020 18 steadfast dedication to service; and
2121 19 WHEREAS, Gary Marschke was the husband of Lori (Dunn)

3535 5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3636 6 Gary Thomas Marschke, Supervisor of DuPage Township, and
3737 7 extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all
3838 8 who knew and loved him; and be it further
3939 9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4040 10 presented to the family of Gary Marschke as an expression of
