| 4 | 4 | | 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |

| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Kyle Taylor James of Virden, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on February 15, 2025; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Kyle James was born to Jackie James and Larry |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 6 O'Dell in Springfield on August 19, 1990; in his youth, he was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 known as a rambunctious child who loved playing video games |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 with his older brothers; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 WHEREAS, Kyle James worked a variety of different jobs in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 the food service and ice industries around the Virden area |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 over the years, most recently serving as a cook at Jo's Place |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 in Virden; he was well-regarded by co-workers; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 WHEREAS, Kyle James enjoyed fishing and sharing those |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 adventures with others, with his catches getting bigger with |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 each retelling; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 WHEREAS, Kyle James was a beloved father, son, brother, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 and friend, and he will be remembered for being an amazing |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 father who did anything for his children; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 19 WHEREAS, Kyle James was preceded in death by his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 grandparents and passed away alongside his sons, Hunter and |
