| 28 | 28 | | 1 SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE] (a) As used in this |

| 29 | 29 | | 2 SECTION, "legislative council" refers to the legislative council |

| 30 | 30 | | 3 created by IC 2-5-1.1-1. |

| 31 | 31 | | 4 (b) As used in this SECTION, "study committee" means either |

| 33 | 33 | | 6 (1) A statutory committee established under IC 2-5. |

| 34 | 34 | | 7 (2) An interim study committee. |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 8 (c) The legislative council is urged to assign to an appropriate |

| 36 | 36 | | 9 study committee during the 2022 interim the task of studying the |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 10 Logansport State Hospital's operations, including the following: |

| 38 | 38 | | 11 (1) Evaluate the hospital's statistics, including staffing and |

| 40 | 40 | | 13 (2) Review the required training for employees of the hospital |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 14 and evaluate similar systems in other states and the |
|---|
