36	36		Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
37	37		1 SECTION 1. That the Congress of the United States is directed to
38	38		2 call a constitutional convention under Article 5 of the Constitution of
39	39		3 the United States for the purpose of proposing the following
40	40		4 amendment to the Constitution of the United States:
41	41		5 "ARTICLE ...The Supreme Court of the United States shall be
42	42		6 composed of nine Justices.".
43	43		7 SECTION 2. That certified copies of this resolution be sent to the
44	44		8 presiding officers of the Congress of the United States, to the Secretary
45	45		9 of the Senate and the Clerk of the United States House of
46	46		10 Representatives, to the presiding officer of each chamber of each state
47	47		11 legislature in the United States, and to the members of the Congress of
48	48		12 the United States from Indiana.
