3636 Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
3737 1 SECTION 1. That the Congress of the United States is directed to
3838 2 call a constitutional convention under Article 5 of the Constitution of
3939 3 the United States for the purpose of proposing the following
4040 4 amendment to the Constitution of the United States:
4141 5 "ARTICLE ...The Supreme Court of the United States shall be
4242 6 composed of nine Justices.".
4343 7 SECTION 2. That certified copies of this resolution be sent to the
4444 8 presiding officers of the Congress of the United States, to the Secretary
4545 9 of the Senate and the Clerk of the United States House of
4646 10 Representatives, to the presiding officer of each chamber of each state
4747 11 legislature in the United States, and to the members of the Congress of
4848 12 the United States from Indiana.
