15 | 15 | | 3 Whereas, The White Lick Presbyterian Church was founded |

16 | 16 | | 4 in Hendricks County, Indiana, in 1851 by twelve members of |

17 | 17 | | 5 the Danville Presbyterian Church; |
---|
18 | 18 | | 6 Whereas, The White Lick Presbyterian Church initially held |
---|
19 | 19 | | 7 small church gatherings in the kitchen of Lee and Juan |
---|
20 | 20 | | 8 (pronounced Joan) Patterson before building the first wood- |
---|
21 | 21 | | 9 framed church in 1857 and eventually building the current |
---|
22 | 22 | | 10 brick sanctuary in the 1870s using clay gathered from the |
---|
23 | 23 | | 11 banks of White Lick Creek; |
---|
24 | 24 | | 12 Whereas, Members of White Lick Presbyterian have |

25 | 25 | | 13 provided humanitarian support by delivering Christmas baskets |
---|
26 | 26 | | 14 to homebound members, sending Mother's Day gifts to mothers |

27 | 27 | | 15 at a local domestic violence shelter, sponsoring an annual |

28 | 28 | | 16 Christmas giving tree, providing food for students during |

29 | 29 | | 17 school breaks, gathering school supplies for children locally |

30 | 30 | | 18 and abroad, serving monthly meals at a local mission, and |
