| 17 | 17 | | 4 Whereas, February 7 to February 11 is recognized as |

| 18 | 18 | | 5 National School Counseling Week; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 6 Whereas, There are 2,000 school counselors in Indiana and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 7 100,000 school counselors nationwide; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 8 Whereas, School counselors are employed in public and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 9 private schools to help students reach their full potential; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 10 Whereas, School counselors are actively committed to |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 11 helping students explore their abilities, strengths, interests, and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 12 talents as these traits relate to career awareness and |
|---|

| 27 | 27 | | 14 Whereas, School counselors help parents focus on ways to |

| 28 | 28 | | 15 further the educational, personal, and social growth of their |
