1 A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring those who have
2 served as legislative interns for the House of Representatives
3 during the First Regular Session of the 123rd Indiana General
4 Assembly.
5 Whereas, The following have served as legislative interns for
6 the Republican Caucus of the House of Representatives during
7 the First Regular Session of the 123rd Indiana General
8 Assembly: Truman Angell, Ryan Beallis, Clayton Black, Barrett
9 Boatner, Marshall Boone, Sophia Casati, Duncan Cherry,
10 Magdalen Crimmins, Joshua Everetts, Jaclyn Fries, Matthew
11 Harrison, Kyleigh Hindsley, Toby Holman, Joshua Jackson,
12 Sarah McLendon, Nicholas McManus, Federico Ortiz, Matthew
13 Parrette, Edison Perry, Ethan Rust, Bavleen Seerha, Austin
14 Selvey, Christopher Silverman, Kevin Todd, Anna Wainscott,
15 Blaine Wentzell, Evan Woodruff, David Zachary Woods, and

1 Whereas, The following have served as legislative interns for
2 the Democratic Caucus of the House of Representatives during
3 the First Regular Session of the 123rd Indiana General
4 Assembly: Courtney Bell, Ellie Campbell, Christian Garrett,
5 Rachel Gray, Sophie Guimond, Olivia Hatch, C.J. Hill,
6 Danielle Howard, Caroline Martin, Aidan Maurath, Marissa
7 McKinney, Luis Oviedo, Clo Perkins, Desmond Reynolds, Will
8 Strobel, and Samuel Willey; 
9 Whereas, The work of legislative interns is vital to the
10 success of each session of the Indiana House of
11 Representatives; 
12 Whereas, The legislative interns serving in 2023 represent
13 some of the best and brightest future leaders of Indiana; 
14 Whereas, Many past legislative interns have gone on to
15 achieve significant personal, academic, political, and
16 professional success; and
17 Whereas, The 2023 legislative intern class contains young
18 leaders who will make a positive contribution to their
19 communities and the state of Indiana in the years to come:
20 Therefore,
21 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
22 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
23 SECTION 1. That the House of Representatives recognizes
24 the important contributions of the individuals who have served
25 as legislative interns for the House of Representatives during
26 the First Regular Session of the 123rd Indiana General
27 Assembly.
28 SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
29 Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to State
30 Representative Greg Steuerwald for distribution.
